Painted in acrylic and gouache and pastels on to watercolour board.

I have really enjoyed this piece as using the pastels has allowed me to add colour of a beautiful vibrance I have been looking for for a while now. They give a sketchy spontaneous feel to the work and colours of a contemporary nature which I have been looking to add to my wildlife paintings.They are used over the acrylics rubbing carefully developing soft tones and sometimes leaving raw for effect.
